Bevaona II

This pump is so remote that we were truly wondering how the technical team made it there with all their heavy equipment, as it is only accessible by foot.

The committee members explain that the pump has broken down a few times and now you need to pump 10 times before water comes out. Their technician is not very experienced so he usually calls Bertin to fix it.

There are no social problems, everybody contributes to the adidy when the pump breaks. Normally the women collect water, but when the women are on the rice fields, the men take over this task. The pump is used by 40 households who all live very dispersed.
